Brett Walker DIRECTOR, PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT INDIANA CLINIC EDUCATION: BA, Tabor College, Kansas MSW, Indiana University

EXPERIENCE: Brett Walker is the director, Physician Recruitment, at Indiana Clinic. He earned his BA at Tabor College, Kansas, and his master’s at Indiana University. Brett was hired in 2001 to create and develop the in-house Physician Recruitment program for Clarian Health. With more than 15 years of physician recruitment experience, Brett oversees the physician recruitment activities for Indiana Clinic and the Clarian Health system.

He is currently serving a two-year term as president of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR), which consists of more than 1,200 physician recruiters across all 50 states and several provinces in Canada.

Brett also has served on the ASPR Board of Directors as president-elect, 2007 and 2008, and board member at large, 2005 and 2006. He also served as co-chairman of the ASPR Benchmark Committee, which partners with the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) to develop national benchmarks for the physician recruitment industry.

He is also a faculty member of the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) and the Forum for Healthcare Strategists.

Brett is a frequent and trusted resource to medical journals, the Advisory Board Company and others on topics and trends related to physician recruitment and retention. In addition, he often presents at conferences and educational forums throughout the United States.

Sarah Grenat PHYSICIAN RECRUITER INDIANA CLINIC EDUCATION: BA, Purdue University, Indiana

EXPERIENCE: Before joining the Clarian Physician Recruitment team (now the Indiana Clinic Physician Recruitment team) in 2008, Sarah worked for a private physician recruitment firm in Saint Louis. She has worked with a variety of companies across the U.S., ranging from small, single-specialty private practices to large health systems. Sarah listens to what physicians desire in a new practice opportunity and understands what her clients need in a new physician staff member. She is skilled at finding the best possible match.

Born and raised in Bloomington, Ind., and educated at Purdue University, Sarah desired to move back to the Hoosier state. With a strong market knowledge spanning across physician specialties, Sarah works closely with her clients to bring quality physician professionals to Clarian’s hospitals and affiliates, and the community at large. She is an active member of ASPR (Association of Staff Physician Recruiters).

Sheri Shaw PHYSICIAN RECRUITER INDIANA CLINIC EDUCATION: BS Human Services and Counseling, University of Wisconsin

EXPERIENCE: Sheri has been a recruiting professional for over 20 years with experience across a variety of industries including Healthcare, Pharma, HR and IT. She began her career in Milwaukee placing Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practioners throughout the country. After relocating to Indianapolis 10 years ago Sheri worked as an internal recruiter at Eli Lilly and Company where she consulted with most of the company’s business functions and for the Consulting divisions with Hewitt Associates (including the Health Management organization).

In addition to her daily recruiting responsibilities, Sheri enjoys teaching. Sheri is a certified Behavioral Interviewing instructor and has taught classes at Lilly and Hewitt for more than 5 years.

Sheri refers to herself as being "born to recruit". She strives to build solid relationships and be a trusted partner with her clients and candidates as they work through making long term hiring and employment decisions. Sheri's excited to be part of promoting Indiana Clinic as the employer of choice for Physicians and Providers and hiring top medical talent to our organization.

EXPERIENCE: Celeste graduated from Indiana University and during the past 20 years consulted and recruited in numerous industries. Prior to joining the Indiana Clinic Physician Recruitment team, Celeste worked for Physician Services at Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne placing physicians within a wide range of specialties.

During the next few years, Celeste will have a dedicated focus on pediatric sub-specialties for IU and Riley Hospital for Children. Celeste is an active member of ASPR "Association of Staff Physician Recruiters". When she is not recruiting, Celeste enjoys spending time with her four children, one of whom plays football for the University of Indianapolis.

Khalisha Brooks PHYSICIAN RECRUITER INDIANA CLINIC EDUCATION: BS, Marian College, Indiana

EXPERIENCE: Khalisha has worked in health care for more than eight years. She joined Clarian's Physician Recruitment team (now the Indiana Clinic Physician Recuitment Team) in 2006 and took on responsibility for event planning, marketing and departmental management. In 2008, Khalisha assumed responsibility for provider recruitment. As a physician recruiter she implements new programs for allied health recruitment to include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, CRNAs and midwives for Clarian, their statewide affiliates and independent groups. She also organizes special events and various educational seminars.

Khalisha is an active member of Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR).

Heidi Ehlke PHYSICIAN RECRUITER INDIANA CLINIC EDUCATION: BS, Marquette University, Wisconsin

EXPERIENCE: Heidi joins the Indiana Clinic Physician Recruitment team with a combined 6 years of health care and corporate experience. Having worked in several areas of health care, Heidi brings rich experience and a multifaceted background to her position. Prior to joining the team Heidi was an integral part of the planning and roll out of a new Physician Recruitment Department at a major health system in Chicago. Heidi’s abilities allow her to go beyond finding the best candidate fit for each placement strategy. She takes pride in working to provide an exceptional experience for all of her clients at every spectrum, ranging from physicians to medical groups.

Heidi was born a Hoosier and recently relocated back to Indianapolis after spending time developing her skills in Wisconsin, Georgia, and Illinois.

Gloria Robertson PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR INDIANA CLINIC EDUCATION: BS, Franklin College, Indiana

EXPERIENCE: Gloria joined the Clarian team (now the Indiana Clinic Team) in August 2008 and has more than 20 years of administrative experience. Previously, she worked as the administrative assistant for the Development, Annual Fund and Events teams at the Riley Children's Foundation. Gloria brings strong organizational skills to the Physician Recruitment office. She supports the director and physician recruiters in logistics, reporting, event planning, marketing and office management.

Gloria and her husband, Rick, are lifelong Hoosiers residing on the southwest side of Indianapolis.

Angie Holland ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT INDIANA CLINIC EDUCATION: Enrolled - BS, Indiana Business College, Indiana

EXPERIENCE: Angie brings over 15 years of administrative experience to the Physician Recruitment team. Prior to joining the Indiana Clinc, she worked at Eli Lilly assisting the Director of Medical Liaisons.

She is currently pursuing a BS degree at Harrison College in Health Care Management. She resides on the Northwest side of Indianapolis.
